There are always two sides of the same coin.
One good...and one evil.
The side that you see...and the side that you don't.
I never got to see the real Randy Warren in real-life. But my future self saw it for me. And the ghost of his past self saw the monster he would've become if fate hadn't intervened.
I'm lucky that we never saw each other in reality. And yet, I knew that there was a side to Randy that Liu and I never saw.
When he and his dad defended us from his evil doppelganger, I knew that he still had some good inside of him.
He helped us and our friends overcome the dark demon that was his evil counterpart. He took the blame for us when the police came.
From there and then, I knew that he did the right thing for all of us.
All of this happened in the world of our dreams.
Randy...if you are reading this...I just wanna thank you for protecting us from your dark side and keeping us out of jail in our dreams.
We became worst enemies in one reality...and good friends in another.
I hope and pray that it stays that way.
You are...our faithful martyr.
